  • My ideal client is someone who is interested in diving deeper into their wellbeing and understanding themselves. I enjoy working with individuals that are open minded and are ready to be challenged and get uncomfortable.

Drawing from my background in school social work, I also bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for supporting adolescents as they navigate the complexities of mental health challenges. I understand the unique pressures and stressors that adolescents, their families, and educators face in academic and social environments. This knowledge enables me to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space where adolescents feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. Through collaboration and trust-building, I work closely with my clients to develop coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and foster resilience in the face of adversity.

  • I like being a therapist because I enjoy holding space for individuals to come as they are, and not fear any judgement. I like walking alongside an individual as they process their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, while working towards bettering themselves.

  • I wish people knew how empowering the therapeutic process can be when we remain open and curious towards change.

  • Therapy can be a very difficult process, yet necessary. I think therapy allows an individual to sit with themselves in a very raw way and work as a team with your clinician on ways to improve your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical self.

  • I want clients to know that I will always meet you where you are at and hope that you will advocate for what your body needs while working together. I utilize an integrative blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and family systems, to creatively find individualized ways to make the therapeutic process engaging - whether a client is interested in creative expression, sports, gentle movement, games, etc - and consistently strive to always bring humor, awareness, curiosity and empathy into our working environment.

Describe your perfect Sunday
Going to a coffee shop with my family and then walking around a downtown area or playing at a park!

A book that you think everyone should read
The Walk Series by Richard Paul Evans

If you weren’t a mental health professional, what would you be doing?
I would be a teacher. I’m also very passionate about childhood development.

What’s something that you’ve learned about yourself recently?
How important community is

If you could make a rule for a day and everyone had to follow it, what would it be?
We have to play and have fun all dang day

Do you collect anything?
I love getting rid of stuff!
