  • My ideal client is someone who is open-minded and willing to take risks in the therapeutic process with me. Someone who is curious about becoming a better version of themselves. I enjoy working with people who like to dig deep, and understand the root of their suffering. I appreciate clients who aren't afraid to make mistakes, because we all know... therapy is not a linear process!

  • I sought therapy when I was in middle school and one day I walked out of my therapists office and told my mom "I want to do what she does someday". Clearly, from a very young age the idea of being a therapist had already been instilled in me. I enjoy this work because I love to feel connected to other people. I love witnessing human experiences in real time. I love the process of uncovering layers that are deeply rooted in us. Holding space for others to be vulnerable in their thoughts, emotions and experiences is a true honor.

  • I wish that people knew therapy is not "one-size-fits-all". Therapy can have different meanings for many different people. There is no "right" way to do therapy, because the process is whatever the client needs it to be. If that means sitting together listening to a client's favorite song on repeat for 50 minutes, so be it!

  • I believe that everyone can always learn something new and benefit from a “tune up”. Maybe that might mean a different coping skill to have in their toolbox, a new perspective to consider, or just simply 55 minutes of uninterrupted time to process whatever they need to. Life is hard, messy, and demanding…. therapy can help.

  • I love being creative in my work with clients! My background in dance for over 20 years has led me to implement my knowledge in somatic movement, yoga & meditation to guide clients through a more internal experience. Movement has been an integral part of my foundation, and I strongly believe in its ability to heal. When working with me, you will notice that I like to be comfortable. Some days that may mean sitting cross-legged in a chair, sitting on the floor or talking while doing some simple stretches - and I invite you to do the same! Whatever you may need on any given day that best serves you is welcome and encouraged in this space with me. Always through a trauma-informed lens, I also often include components of IFS (Internal Family Systems, or "parts work") with clients to gain clarity and insight on the nuanced issues and struggles we face as humans.
